The AIDS Insurance Continuation Program (AICP) assists low-income Floridians living with HIV/AIDS with private health insurance premium payments. The program is supported through the State of Florida Department of Health with Ryan White Program and State of Florida General Revenue funds. AICP is available to individuals who have been diagnosed as HIV-positive, are currently covered by private health insurance, and are eligible to receive HIV/AIDS Patient Care Program Services. The program provides insurance premium payments of up to $750/month to the insurance company for medical, dental, and vision coverage. AICP may also pay an enrollee’s policy deductible, costs associated with converting to an individual policy, insurance policy upgrades to expand drug benefits, and co-payment reimbursement.
